How to Tone Roots|Root Tap Vs Root Melt

Hey guys and welcome to all my new subscribers thank you guys so much for joining me! it has been an insanely busy summer season and as we approach fall I will be dedicating more time to my channel so bare with me! I wanted to show you a quick root toning video and the differences between a soft root vs a rooted look.

Guest 1: I did a full Babylight on her and then used Redken Shades Eq 8N+9P for her root tap, the tone for her mids to ends was equal parts 10VV+9P+capful 10GI, but I waited 10 minutes before toning the rest of the hair and tapping the money piece to make sure we kept that as bright as possible but to also allow for the root tap to process separately.
Guest 2: I did a full teasy light + ombre on her and melted Redken Shades Eq 5NW on the first inch of her roots blending into 7N for the mids. I added 1/2oz Crystal Clear to the 7N formula for the ends and around the face framing pieces which I waited 10 minutes before applying.
