In late April, General Secretary Xi Jinping arrived in Chongqing Municipality to begin his third domestic inspection tour of the year. In his three days in Chongqing, he visited Chongqing International Logistics Hub Park, a local village community, Army Medical University and Chongqing's Digital Urban Operation and Governance Center. He also delivered an important speech on promoting the development of the western regions in the new era and heard a report from the Communist Party of China Chongqing Municipal Committee and Chongqing municipal government about their work.
