This 80s Saracen Tufftrax is the perfect mix of retro and modern (now)

In this episode I’m returning to my 1980s Saracen Tufftrax for some tweaks and upgrades.

In my previous test ride, I found the wheels heavy and the Magura rim brakes totally lacking in power and feel too.

So it’s time to change the wheels back to my hope Hub equipped retro rims and add some sweet Shimano XT V-Brakes.

With the parts fitted it’s time for a cheeky lunchtime test ride to see if it’s all good, and I’m joined by Martin from @lifesbeengoodtomesofar4040 riding his awesome Saracen Trekker.
