Some thoughts, bird watching, and a last look at the Hotel

This is a much abridged version of my final thoughts on the Lake District and the visitors to it. I had much to say. Trouble is, after looking at it numerous times, and knowing that none of it was ever intended to cause any offence but, rather , to be a thought provoking geniune observation, I decided that there are probably sufficient folk out there who get "offended" by the least little thing, regardless of intention, and, reluctantly, pruned my offer. I think what I have left in, however, is serious enough to promote an honest debate about what is happening here, and elsewhere, with regards to visitors and their pets, because there are dangers building up as a consequence of the sheer numbers involved. But I finish on a lighter note with a look at the hotel and a word about its history. My visit is nearly finished.
