The Future Of Motorcycles Is Here: Take a Look at the BMW Motorrad VISION NEXT 100

Everyone is familiar with BMW and their cars, but as part of the vision next-100 series of
vehicles the automobile giant has introduced the BMW Motorrad VISION NEXT 100. This
futuristic version has reinvigorated the current motorcycle design.
A self-balancing system keeps the bike upright does not matter if it is standing still or in
motion. The amazing bike comes with a digital companion “The-Visor” which offers real-
time riding advice. It is a special pair of glasses and is controlled by eye movements. The
vision spans the entire field of vision hence the name, and provides active-feedback on
road conditions to the rider. The smart device also adjusts the bike depending on the
rider's driving characteristics.
An Intelligent system anticipates what lies further down the road by maintaining a broad
range of data about the motorcycle surroundings.
BMW Motorrad VISION seems a bike straight outta science fiction with its innovative flex
frame. What is astounding about this ride is that when the handlebar is turned, the entire
frame adjusts to change the bike's direction without the use of joints.
Oh, and there are almost no button controls on the carbon construction.
The Motorrad VISION NEXT 100 is certainly a futuristic concept ride. In its leap
forward in bike industry, BMW has paid a tribute to its first motorcycle 1923 R32
with Vision’s white trim in the frame and black triangular design.
Not only the design and technology but Motorrad’s engine is also a creation of the
future as BMW has specified that the concept bike will run on a non-gasoline power
source. The exact technology is yet to be determined though.
