👓 Helgoland is a North Sea island in the German Bight. The originally larger island broke up in 1721; since then, the side island known as Düne has existed. Because of its location on the open sea, Helgoland is often called "Germany's only deep-sea island". Within the German Bight, the island represents the north-western boundary of the Helgoland Bight. The main island is divided into five areas: Upper Country, Central Country and Lower Country as well as Northeast Country and South Port.

🔭 The camera panning shows the view of the lowlands with the southern harbour and the colourful Hummber stands. In the summer, you can watch seaside resort ships with which tourists cross over to the island. The turn continues towards the neighbouring island of Düne with its seal banks, the small airport.
