Anthony Albanese has backed calls for an age limit on social media in a bid to protect children’s mental health.
The Prime Minister joined state leaders in New South Wales, Queensland, and Victoria in supporting tougher regulation around underage social media use.
Labor has pledged $6.5 million towards an age verification trial and launched a joint inquiry into social media platforms.
