Somatic embryogenesis
This video lecture about plant tissue culture explains the process of somatic embryogenesis. This tutorial lecture will explain step-by-step process of somatic embryogenesis and his advantage and disadvantages. Here I also talk about some example of somatic embryogenesis in plant tissue culture lab. Somatic embryogenesis is a process by which black embryo is produced from somatic cell of the plant. This lecture also explains the use of somatic embryogenesis in the production of artificial seed and the role of somatic embryogenesis in artificial seed technology.
