Welcome to our project video! As part of our SULAM (Service Learning Malaysia – University for Society) initiative, Group 1 proudly presents "Paws of Compassion." This program bridges academic learning with meaningful civic responsibility, focusing on animal welfare, community education, and hands-on volunteerism.

🏛️ About Galeri Animal Malaysia
Galeri Animal Malaysia is a dedicated animal welfare and care hub operated under the Malaysia Animal Association (MAA). Located in Kuala Lumpur, the center acts as a crucial haven for rescued strays, advocating fiercely against animal cruelty, raising public awareness on animal rights, and promoting humane stray management solutions like Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) and community feeding.

🤝 Our SULAM Activity: "Paws of Compassion"
Driven by the core SULAM values of Love, Happiness, and Mutual Respect, our team stepped out of the classroom to support the gallery’s daily operations and long-term mission. Our activities included:
1. On-Site Volunteering: Assisting with the daily care, feeding, and socialization of rescued animals to boost their well-being and ready them for adoption.
2. Exclusive Interview with the Mr. Christopher Wong: We conducted an in-depth interview with the gallery's staff to better understand the day-to-day operations, the heavy challenges faced by animal shelters in Malaysia, and the critical steps needed to sustain their noble mission.
3. Educational Sharing & Awareness Session: We listened to an eye-opening sharing session by the Associate Prof. Dr. Arie Dwi Andika, gaining priceless insights into the reality of street animal management, and how ordinary citizens can make a difference.
