'Honest & direct': Mamdani reveals relationship with Trump after truth social blowout
NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani was asked on NBC's Meet the Press about his relationship with US President Donald Trump.
Zohran Mamdani, during the NBC interview, described his relationship with Donald Trump as being "honest, direct, and productive"
He said, "I would say that it's honest, it's direct, and it's productive."
Mamdani acknowledged his differences with Trump, saying what they share in common is their "love for New York City."
"I will say is that those conversations, no matter how they happen they return back to one thing, one of the few things that we have in common, which is our love for New York City and how to deliver for this same city," Mamdani said.
