The Steed gives you a lot of exterior vehicle for an incredibly low price. The top of the range for the Great Wall is a dual cab ute, a large vehicle, yet its list price is about the same as a medium spec Toyota Corolla. In fact, probably a little cheaper.

It is clearly been built from a low price perspective so its performance and features are not going to be class-leading. Of course, it is very easy for a motoring journalist to say, well obviously you should spend 10, 20 thousand dollars more and buy a Nissan Navara, Holden Colorado or any of the others or perhaps go the whole hog and get the top of the range, four-wheel drive all the bells and whistles - Ford Ranger.
