Lady Gaga on addiction, her first leading role & working with Bradley Cooper on A Star is Born

A Star is Born premiered at the 2018 Toronto Film Festival in Canada. It marks the directorial debut of Bradley Cooper and he stars in the film with Lady Gaga in the leading role. Best known as the singer of Bad Romance, Paparazzi and Telephone there is Oscar buzz surrounding her performance. Highlights of the full press conference include her thoughts on addiction, her first leading role and the role the gay community has played in her career.

The film also stars Sam Elliott, Dave Chappelle, Anthony Ramos, Bonnie Somerville, Andrew Dice Clay and D.J. 'Shangela' Pierce.

PLOT:
Seasoned musician Jackson Maine (Bradley Cooper) discovers-and falls in love with-struggling artist Ally (Gaga). She has just about given up on her dream to make it big as a singer - until Jack coaxes her into the spotlight. But even as Ally's career takes off, the personal side of their relationship is breaking down, as Jack fights an ongoing battle with his own internal demons.

A Star is Born is released across the world on the 5th of October, 2018.
