How to Repaint Items to Give Them New Life!
Hey Dabbles!
Today, I’m hoping to inspire you to give new life to old, broken, and cheap (like dollar store cheap) items, with just a little paint!
I’m someone who absolutely LOVES a designed look, but I know it doesn’t always come cheap as all the little items tend to add up. So throughout the years, I’ve looked for ways to repurpose things by raiding clearance sections at various stores, including the dollar store, but most of all, I love shopping in my own home!
You’ll be surprised at what you have at your house or what friends and family have – you know the saying, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure! And to attempt to save the slightest of space in landfills, and make use of what you already have, it’s not only fun to play around with, but it makes it easier on your wallet, and gives you an awesome feeling when you had a hand at the designs in your own spaces.
The smallest of gestures, like creating a color scheme in a home, can really help elevate your space. While this isn’t for people who can hire an interior designer, for the rest of us folks who don’t have the budgets, don’t leave your house completely without décor, or unmatched. Just by merely matching things around a room, you can make a world of difference.
Check out this video where I end up repurposing 3x $1 vases from the dollar store, an old basket that was laying around the house, multiple canvases from paint and sip classes that I didn’t love, and an faux animal skeleton head that went from blah to a crisp white chic!
