41. Stentor

Developmental Biology Film Series episode 41.

Stentor are heterotrophic ciliate protists that are usually horn-shaped reach lengths of 2 mm, making them among the largest known non-algal extant unicellular organisms. Stentors reproduce asexually through binary fission.
