2021 Presidential election in Uganda: against Museveni, Bobi Wine challenges Museveni. Uganda's 2021 presidential election will take place on January 14, 2021 to elect the President of Uganda for a five-year term.

The first round takes place at the same time as the legislative elections.
Outgoing president Yoweri Museveni is running for re-election.

The campaign is coming to an end in Uganda ahead of the January 14 elections.

In Kampala, Yoweri Museveni supporters are mobilized to show the outgoing president in his best light.

Ten candidates present themselves against Yoweri Museveni. Among them, Robert Kyagulanyi, better known as Bobi Wine. At 38, the singer attracts many young people who do not identify with Museveni's aging regime.

In a country where 80% of the population is under 30 and two-thirds are unemployed, Bobi Wine has pledged to create five million jobs. He also wants to invest in public services and boost growth.
