Middlesbrough pharmacist found guilty of murdering wife | ITV News

Mitesh Patel appeared to be running a successful pharmacy with his wife Jessica on Teesside. But he was planning to start a new life in Australia with his male lover who he had met on an internet dating site. He planned to fund his new life with his wife's £2 million life assurance payout.

Patel killed his wife at their Middlesbrough home and tried to make it look like it was a break-in. He denied murder but was found guilty by a jury at Teesside Crown Court.
