We’re pleased to share an exclusive interview with Lee Jin-Hee, Janggu performer and Director of the Instrumental Music Ensemble (Percussion) at the Busan National Gugak Center.
In this interview, Lee Jin-Hee reflects on the special experience of performing in Japan for the Korea – Japan Youth Concert 2025, held to celebrate 60 years of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Korea and Japan.
He shares insights on the cultural connections between Korean and Japanese music, his passion for traditional Korean percussion, and his hopes for future youth exchanges through music.
