Véreux (Québec) - Sous les branches empoisonn​é​es de mon pays (EP 2023)

New EP from this prolific project of C.B. (Complot!, Feufolet, Pénombre, Crapule, etc.).

Excellent Punk-ish and glorious Quebecois Black Metal, clearly inspired by the likes of Ildjarn or Bone Awl, but in a more mid-paced fashion with dense, primitive riffage, but with the addition of some more experimental flares, like the demented guitar leads, or the Industrial, mechanistic drum machine, which definitely reminisces with Austria's Gates of Londra.

There's often some nods to the patriotic and proud chants of Oi! music, possibly inspired by Akitsa's, who they brilliantly cover on the last track.
