Victims of Beirut's explosion begin sifting through the rubble | ABC News

Years of war did not prepare Beirut for the massive blast that rocked Lebanon's capital this week, plunging hundreds of thousands of people into sudden homelessness.

The explosion among port warehouses storing ammonium nitrate killed more than 135 people, injured over 4,000 and caused widespread property damage.

Beirut's Governor said up to 250,000 people may have been left without shelter.
