They said it cant be done! You CANNOT play SMD/Genesis games on an Amiga! Oh yes you can, if you have an 060 or a fast 040 (+ JIT under emulation), there is a way to play those games on your machine. I never really played Sega games before, so lets check these out .

This was a project left on the back burner for a few years, as I didnt know what to do with it. The show didnt seem good enough for a regular 'special', so I just left it on the shelf. Last year I dug it up for use on the Patreon special playlist, for patreons of the show - but as there are no patreons of my show, again it got canned. That brings us to January 2019, when a fan commented about the fact it is difficult to emulate a SMD on and Amiga, but rather than make a comment, I just loaded this up in the editor and finished it off.

I added a few things to it, a few more arrows and captions, and maybe a few more speech bubbles. The narration was very low, so I merged the audio of the whole production on to just one track, and then boosted whole audio up. Maybe I went a bit too far with this?

This idea behind the boosted audio was mentioned in a production note a while ago, but basically, if the show is too quiet, sometimes people cant make their system any louder, and even on full volume it sounds quiet without an amplifier. To fix this, I set the audio output of my editor to half volume, forcing me to make all the audio twice as loud. This means the 'normal' setting for your viewing pleasure is half volume on youtube. If you want it louder - like for a Rock track you want it playing loud!, or if you cant hear me, no problem, you can turn me up. Recently on the channel, the optimum volume has been around 75% of the volume bar, and this feels good as it gives a bit more power for volume if you need it. Going full-on down to 50% volume seems a bit too much, so really sorry if the music is too loud when this show starts.
