Colorado 14'ers: Climbing the Loft route on Longs Peak

Longs Peak is both the monarch of Rocky Mountain National Park and one of the most popular (and crowded) 14'ers in Colorado. The standard Keyhole route is a class 3 scramble that can see hundreds of summit attempts in a single day. The Loft route, also a class 3 scramble, avoids the traffic of the standard route by circumnavigating Longs Peak on its southern side.
