Roosevelt Roads Spotting: Temporarily Reactivated

*WARNING: Annoying dog bark...*

Time to introduce another local airport! Presenting another one of Puerto Rico's airports: José Aponte de la Torre Airport (formerly Roosevelt Roads Naval Station) located in Ceiba, Puerto Rico! This is a regional airport that opened in 2008 on what used to be the former Naval Station (and all its sweet action back in the day), replacing the operations in Fajardo's airport. The only local airlines that operate out of here go to either Vieques or Culebra only. However, after Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico, the Roosevelt Roads base was temporarily reactivated in order to accommodate for the military relief flights. The footage here is from 10/5/17, which features some of the military action that you could see during the day. Usually a few C-5Ms went here, but I wasn't lucky that day...
