Paragliding in Eastbourne - Beachy Head cliffs and lighthouse in Eastbourne

Beachy Head white cliffs at the Sussex coast with lighthouse and paragliding in Eastbourne, South England, UK.

The chalk cliffs were formed 100 million years ago, when last Ice Age ended and sea levels rose the English Channel formed.

There is not much of a beach; just rocks.

You can go there for a beautiful walk in the Seven Sister Country Park.

Sadly this seafront is also a suicide spot with about 20 deaths a year.

James Bond film The Living Daylights used the cliff in it's opening sequence with Bond parachuted from a jeep which overshot the top of the cliff.
