COP27 journey: how health insurance supports women entrepreneurs in Egypt

The Hemayet Lead project, supported by Women's World Banking with insurance and reinsurance support from AXA Egypt and Swiss Re, is a real example of how we can bring insurance to emerging consumers. At the branch in Giza we talked to the customers and manager of the Lead Foundation to find out how the Egyptian women entrepreneurs are being supported when they need it most.

Cairo was the last of four stops on our journey to COP27, the climate change summit held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt from 6 -18 Nov. 2022. Swiss Re attended the conference to strengthen our collaboration with clients and partners in the transition to reaching net zero by 2050. Our journey from Zurich to Sharm el-Sheikh took us to Milan, Genoa, Naples and Cairo, where we met with clients and partners to learn about their sustainability efforts.
