Wide Banding/Modding a K-PO DX5000 10M Radio

I searched the internet for a tutorial on how to install the DX5000 data cable and how to wide band the radio, but could not find one, so I decided to do one myself.

Here are the manufacturers instructions (if your not confident with radios, don't do it. I'm not going to be held responsibile for your cock up!).

- Turn off the radio
- Press the FUNC and S/RF buttons together. While holding these buttons, turn on the radio
- You can now switch between the 1band and 2band, by turning the channel switch
- When you have selected the correct band, press the FUNC button, the display will show first rES and then rEND

1band = 28.000 - 29.700
2band = 25.615 - 28.305
