Savannah Food wrapped up in a Savannah Food Tour!

We had 24 hours in Savannah Georgia and spent it walking around River Street, the squares, the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist before starting a food tour for dinner.

The food tour took us to the Crystal Beer Parlor (Savannah's oldest restaurant) Treylor Park (the most recommended restaurant) Sorry Charlie's (our favorite) and the Famous Leopold's Ice Cream (owned by the same family since 1919)

Savannah is the first European City in Georgia. It was founded in 1733 claiming Georgia as the final of the 12 original colonies. The Savannah River is a cornerstone of the city and was home to the 1996 Olympic Crew Competition.
