How to measure your container or bottle to find the best label size

In this video, you'll learn how to measure your bottle or container so you can get the most accurate and attractive label size for your bottle. You've picked out your bottle and now it's time to make art and determine the label size that is best suited for your bottle or container. Don't freak out this is a pretty easy step if you know what to do. In this video I mention the 1/8 inch rule, this is a great standard to make sure your labels are going to look great and apply with no issues. The rule is to leave 1/8 inch space on the wrap-around so the label doesn't overlap onto itself, this solves multiple problems during the application process and it looks nice. The second part of the rule is to leave 1/8 inch space from the top and bottom edge of the label to the edge or curvature of the container. This will make label application a breeze by floating the label right in the middle of your jar, bottle, or container. If you get to close to the top and bottom of the container you will run into problems like labels wrinkling or jamming in the label applicator making your products look less valuable and you could have downtime in your production line.
