American or African Cichlids - Which is Best? | The Cichlid Bros Debate

In today's video, we discuss our favorite types of cichlids. We had two main categories - South and Central Americans vs. African cichlids. We made some generalizations for argument's sake, but there's always going to be exceptions when it comes to certain species.

We distilled this debate into four main points: personality, aquascapes, color and variety. We could've discussed this for hours, and who knows, maybe we'll make a part 2 down the line - let us know if you're interested in seeing that.

Overall, Quinn & Troy were bigger fans of the South and Central American cichlids, while Alec is more into keeping African Cichlids.
