Growing Saguaro cacti from seeds in the Sonoran Desert

I harvest seeds from naturally growing Saguaro cacti, and show their progress over 4 years. I show a focus-stacked 20x macro image of a seed. I put their growth in context by comparing my results to a growth curve from the literature. Finally we look at Saguaro germination rates over the 20th century.
