Rusty Chain Wrench Restoration-(Chain Wrench Romanian )

Hello everyone.
Today I bring a clip with very rusty chain wrench , Intensely used in Romania in the oil fields of Moreni city , before the 1989 revolution .The tool was used on oil transport pipes.
I don't know exactly how old he is, but he's definitely over 30 years old .
The instrument was very abused, clearly visible on the tail . The chain got stuck because it hadn't been used in a long time , And the rust did its job .
I unlocked it and barely removed the stiffened screws using a stripping spray. then I took each component separately and reconditioned it.
The first time I took the tail and sandblasted the Tool , I chose the surfaces and cleaned the holes, I used a 40 ton press to straighten the crooked tail, then I applied primer and red paint.
The jaws were well rusted, I cleaned them with a wire brush after blasting. I gritted my teeth and sanded them .I degreased them and painted them using black paint .
The fixing screws were damaged, I decided to make new ones.
I decided to make them on the lathe. Then I used hot bluing .
The chain couldn't be sandblasted so I decided to make it with vinegar , After a week the vinegar cleaned and ungrouped almost completely, The remaining potions, I used them with a hammer to unlock them ,after I used hot bluing , Never rust again .
