There is a fault with the control circuit in this Portable DIY Mini Spot Welder Machine with LCD Display Automatic Touch Welding Mode for 18650 Battery 12V Car Battery Super Capacitor.

After I used it the first time there was a strong burning smell from the circuitry & now the unit passes direct battery current with no control from the DIY Spot Welder even when the control unit is turned off.
