The Major Pentatonic Boxes For Blues Guitar
You may remember not too long ago we talked about "the 5 boxes" for the guitar, which is really just a nice way to compartmentalize and remember the minor pentatonic scale.
It helps with being able to remember the scale and see quickly and easily what notes are available to us for blues soloing and even rhythm playing.
Well, without having to actually learn any new patterns, you can pretty quickly and easily turn those 5 boxes into the major pentatonic scale - but you have to be able to flip a little switch in your brain and look at the root notes differently.
In this video, I'll show you how :)
