Scared to die, but more scared of a future without hope. That's how many young people in Myanmar feel as they turn out to protest each day against last month's military coup.

Their parents remember fear and isolation under decades of military rule, but Myanmar's Generation Z has grown up in an emerging democracy with a 4G connection to the outside world.
They say they don't want a return to the "dark ages" without opportunities for education and careers.
