DIY Flaring Copper Tubing

With a little practice, you CAN flare your own copper pipe connections. These flares were made for a ductless mini-split heat pump system, but the process is the same for many applications (oil heaters, plumbing, etc.) Keep in mind that almost all flares are 45 degrees around the house. 37 degree flares (Army/Navy) are used in more technical applications.
