Apocalypse Orchestra - Santa Maria, Strela do Dia (International bagpipe day)

Once again, it is March 10th, which means the International Bagpipe Day!

This year we celebrate it to the melody of Cantiga No 100 ( CSM100 ) - Santa María, Strela do día.

The Cantigas de Santa Maria (CSM) consists of 420 poems with musical notation, written in medieval Galician-Portuguese language, hailing from the middle of the 13th century.

Mikael is playing a swedish bagpipe (yes, this is a thing in case you did not know!) built by Max Persson. Erik's cittern is built by master luthier Christer Ådin.
