The boss of one of the UK's leading supermarket chains has quit the Council of the Conservative Party, accusing them of being out of touch.
Richard Walker had been trying to stand as a Tory MP but has 'reached the end of the road' with the party.

The Iceland boss was attempting to stand as a Tory MP at the next election, but now says his Conservative membership is in the shredder.
