First Ride: Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro

This is my video of my First Ride on Triumphs' new Tiger 900 Rally Pro. This was just after it was launched, and before the UK COVID-19 travel restrictions came into play. It was the last ride I could do before everything stopped, but it was great to ride the bike.

I don't discuss the technical details of the T-Plane firing sequence (0-90-180) that make this Triple feel more like a Twin, but it's covered in depth elsewhere. Instead it was a half hour ride-out that took in some town riding, country lanes and a short blast on a dual carriageway to get a feel for the bike.

Massive thanks to the guys at Triumphworld Chesterfield for letting me take the Rally Pro out for this short test ride. (I think I was the first non-staff member to have a go!).

I think it is the best middleweight out there and a serious contender for those looking to replace something like a R1200GS with something else, but which still has all of the toys. This even had a heated seat, the GoPro and phone integration was great and all for nearly 1/3 less than a R1250GS TE Rallye.

When we can get back out on the roads, I'm sure we will see a lot of these around. Stay safe all!
