The second part was also in the North of Vietnam: Ninh Binh and Ha Long Bay. Vietnam offers a lot of variety, Ninh Binh and Ha Long Bay are the same but yet so different. A lot of people call Ninh Binh the Halong Bay on the mainland because of its similar hills. The nature is just incredible, beyond what I have ever seen before. They are both worth a visit!

Vietnam was my first long-distance travel and it couldn't have been better. First of all, Vietnam is very travelers-friendly; we never felt uncomfortable, the infrastructure is perfect and nature is breathtaking. Besides that, everything is very affordable from food to accommodation. Going with a small group of close friends allowed us to be very flexible.
