Tinlicker @ Electric Daisy Carnival EDC 2022, Las Vegas - 5/20/22 [Full Set GoPro 4k]

Hope y'all enjoy Tinlicker cuz "Rebirth" had me crying at the end! Also below is a short story about my 10-year raving journey that I hope y'all read to learn more about me!

So my first rave EVER was EDC 2012 when I saw Porter Robinson play "Language" for the first time. It stuck with me as my favorite EDM song ever for a whole decade. The next 5 years I fell in love with a beautiful girl who was my rave bae and went to every Porter show with me and we sang "Language" every fkn time. But in 2017, we fell out of love and ended a 5-year relationship because I decided to move to Los Angeles to chase my dreams as a filmmaker and we didn't want to do long distance.

Coincidentally that same year in 2017, Porter announced that he would be playing Worlds Live at EDC. I had only been living in LA for one month and had no friends that wanted to go with me so I decided to ride solo for the first time ever to any festival or show. I even made a fkn Buzzfeed video called "An Introvert Goes To A 3-Day Music Festival By Himself" where I shared my hesitation about doing this but came out the end a better person. Continue onto the next 5 years where I would attend over 200+ shows/festivals and have met so many amazing people along the way and recorded lots of sets to share with the world. And finally in 2022 after 5 years, Porter returns to EDC to play a DJ set that would be his best DJ set yet!

I spent half the set by myself since I had to leave my friends early to set up my GoPro. Then I had all these mixed emotions resurface from my Solo Porter EDC 2017 set that I cried because I felt all alone again. But miraculously my friends ended up finding me and I cried even more! I think it was because ever since 2017, I felt like I lost someone very important to me -- like my ex and I breaking up 2017, then my grandma passing away 2018, my father being diagnosed with cancer in 2019 and passing in 2020, aunt in 2021, and lastly my grandpa on 2022 New Years day. I've carried so much grief with me these last 5 years and music has always been my compass to find that light at the end of the tunnel and when my friends found me during Porter's set I just learned that I'm not alone in this world. I may have lost my loved ones but I have found new ones that fill me with so much joy and to get to sing all of my favorite Porter songs with them just brought me to literal tears.

It's been a LONGGG fucking road to get to where I am today and to be FINALLY happy with my career, my art and myself. I just want to thank everyone that's supported me in this crazy journey! Seriously though, I was stopped like 30 times by so many people at EDC who recognized my work and it makes me so fkn happy that I can even make an impact on one person. Even if I have to deal with security guards stealing my GoPro at Coachella, or getting banned from Crssd, or getting zero sleep all of EDC weekend cuz I was rush editing these videos for y'all -- I will fkn do this til the day I die because it brings me so much happiness that my art and my videos help so many people out there.

I may not have a rave bae anymore -- but I have my health, my friends + fam, and all of you out there that support my vision. So thank you again and hope to see you out there!
