How to Pull 100 Feet of Solar PV Wire Through Conduit

Pulling not just one, but 3 wires, each 104 feet long, 6 gauge THHN through 100 feet of conduit. I'm pulling this through a one inch PVC conduit. This will run from my solar combiner box, into my DC load center. I found my local electrical supplier had the best price for THHN wire. THHN wire is normal every-day wire used in residential and commercial buildings. It is good up to 600 volts, well below my application. However, it needs to be protected inside conduit because it will break down in direct sunlight.

I'm using a shop vac (wet/dry vacuum) to suck a string through the conduit first, then pull a webbing, then pull the wires. The best webbing to use is called "Mule Tape". Mule tape, or Mule webbing, is specifically made for this purpose.

I hope this video helps anyone else learn how to pull wires. Please consider using an affiliate link below for supplies, it helps the channel.
