BTC202 2001-2003 Lexus LS430 How to Clean Sunroof Drains

Tired of having water in your rear seating area? Here's how to access to your rear sunroof drains, clean them out, and stop the leaks!

Applies to the 2001-2003 Lexus LS430 and 2000-2003 Toyota Celsior models.

I'm embarrassed that I pulled the "Installation is reverse of the steps!" at the end.
So once you've cleaned out the rear sunroof rails and see that water is properly draining out through the tubes, the water should be trickling out from behind the rear wheels.

1. Firmly press the headliner into the ceiling. The headliner is clipped in along the edges and in the middle with Velcro.
2. Install the C-pillar trim covers by first lining up the metal hole, the socket that had to be pulled forward, insert and push rearward, from there firmly tap the pillar trim cover so that it clips into place.
3. (This step was not mentioned, however is slightly useful in this operation.) Removal is just pulling up, it is not clipped in but rather clamped along the rail. To reinstall side seat cushion/inside door trim card. Aline the 3x metal clamps with the seam and firmly push down. The trim cover will slide into place.
4. After the door trim cover is installed, now install the grey noise insulation by aligning the black rubber atop the seam and push down. Firmly push down so that the insulation seats snugly and will not come undone.
5. For the passenger cabin lights, insert the light from R to L on the drivers side, and from L to R on the passenger side. Once inserted, screw the 1x Philips head screw in behind the jacket hanger.
6. Install the passenger grab handles by screwing the 2x Philips head screw in behind the handles mounts, once screwed in, the trim cover should gently be pushed into the metal frame and pop into its hole.
Installation is finished.
