1️⃣ SEBI Chairman Shares Major Update on NSE IPO
On May 22, SEBI Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey said that all pending issues related to NSE’s IPO will be resolved soon. Once the roadmap is ready, the IPO process will begin. Interestingly, as of May 2025, NSE has over 1 lakh investors, making it one of India’s largest unlisted companies.

2️⃣ ONGC Q4 Results Out: Profit Down 20%
ONGC reported a net profit of ₹8,856 crore for Q4 FY25, down 20% from ₹11,096 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue also dipped slightly to ₹1.70 lakh crore. Despite the weak results, the board has approved a final dividend of ₹1.25 per ₹5 share. The record date is yet to be announced.

3️⃣ Aditya Birla Fashion Demerger: New Company Coming Soon
Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail is demerging its lifestyle business into a new entity, Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands Limited. The listing date for its shares will be announced after allotment. The goal is to streamline the business and give investors clearer value.

4️⃣ Leela Hotels IPO Launch: ₹3,500 Crore Public Issue
Leela Hotels, part of Brookfield’s Schloss Bangalore, has launched a ₹3,500 crore IPO with a price band of ₹413–₹435 per share. The issue includes ₹2,500 crore fresh issue and ₹1,000 crore Offer for Sale. The IPO opens from May 26 to May 28, 2025.

5️⃣ Tata Teleservices Faces ₹19,256 Crore AGR Dues Pressure
Tata Teleservices has to repay ₹19,256 crore in AGR dues by March 2026. The company is already reporting ₹994 crore annual losses. The Supreme Court recently rejected petitions from Vodafone Idea, Airtel, and Tata Tele seeking AGR relief. Tata Sons has issued a “letter of comfort” to help cover these dues.

6️⃣ TCS Wins ₹2,903 Crore BSNL 4G Project
TCS has secured a ₹2,903 crore 4G network project from BSNL for 18,685 sites. Tejas Network will supply ₹1,525.53 crore worth of Radio Access Network (RAN) equipment for this project. This is part of BSNL’s ₹15,000 crore mega 4G rollout.

7️⃣ Jaguar Land Rover India Hits Record Sales in FY25
JLR India sold 6,183 luxury cars in FY25, marking a 40% growth. The company aims to double its business in the next 3–4 years, expand to 50 outlets by 2030, and introduce new models like Range Rover BEV.

8️⃣ Adani Ports Secures $150 Million Loan from DBS Bank
Adani Ports has secured a $150 million, 4-year loan from Singapore’s DBS Bank. This is Adani Group’s first major global loan since bribery-related allegations surfaced in 2024. The loan’s total cost is around 5.5%. Adani Group is also in talks with banks like Barclays and Standard Chartered for a $750 million loan for its airports business.

9️⃣ Vodafone Idea Shares Drop After AGR Plea Rejection
Vodafone Idea shares dropped 12% intraday on May 19, 2025, and closed 8.68% lower at ₹6.73. The fall came after the Supreme Court rejected Vi’s request to waive ₹30,000 crore in AGR dues. The DoT had earlier rejected a similar relief request from Vi’s CEO.

🔟 Bajaj Auto to Acquire Majority Stake in KTM
Bajaj Auto will acquire majority control of Austria’s KTM AG through its Netherlands-based subsidiary, BAIHBV. The deal includes a total investment of ₹7,765 crore. This marks a major step in Bajaj Auto’s global expansion and will support KTM’s financial recovery.
