Back on the Trail - (5 of 10) 5 Day Solo Canoe Trip with my Dog

Here I talk about an accident I previously had on the trail when I put my hatchet in my foot. I've also lightened up my pack to a 25 pound base weight. What a difference the lighter pack makes, especially when doing the 2.8km portage in this video. I also wipe up some good 'ol bannock...my favourite!

This is on a 5 day solo canoe trip with my dog Lucy in Algonquin park that I did the in middle of August. It was a great over all trip where I go through some tips & tricks, review some gear, try out a new tarp pitch, see beautiful wildlife and get through some thunderstorms in the night.
