Gangsters caught selling nuclear device for $3.3 million ☢️

European authorities caught an organized crime group who arranged to sell a nuclear device to an unspecified “army” for 3 million euros (US$3.33 million), Europol, the European police association said. The material was identified as uranium-235, a radiological isotope that can be used in nuclear weapons. Testing of the recovered material had not yet confirmed that is what it is. In any event, the attempt had been thoroughly infiltrated by an undercover agent from Moldova, where the plot originated. The men had been monitored for the past year, authorities said. Two men were tracked by police leaving Chisinau airport in Moldova carrying a bag. They were later joined by a third man in what appears to be Vienna airport. Europol also release curious video of a green device being shown to the camera. It appears to be video taken by the sellers to prove they had it. There is also a clip of a suitcase filled with high-denomination euro notes. This looks like it may have been video sent in return by the buyers to show they had the money.
They are next seen in a parking lot where a black sedan with the device in the trunk was shown, presumably to perspective buyers. Police swarmed in, led by COBRA, an Austrian tactical team. Three men were arrested at gunpoint. Two of them had criminal records and one of them had been convicted for a similar crime in the past.
