1945/1946 Gillette Aristocrat Refurbished RePlated 24 karat Gold Razor. This beautiful razor is in Refurbished Re-Plated Condition, THERE IS NO PLATE LOSS ANY PLACE ON THE RAZOR. The doors look like gold mirrors. This razor is one that is getting harder to find. The razor works great and opens very smoothly and closes tightly, very well aligned. All moving mechanisms work great; this razor is ready to give more great shaves. It is in EXCEPTIONAL condition.

Refurbishing Process
*Inspection, Repairs are made, guards are straightend, doors are straightened, mechanics are checked, endcaps soldered, razor is then disassembled.
*Those razors allowing for disassembly are disassembled.
*Extensive Deep Cleaning and Disinfection
*Polishing. Worn, pitted locations are sanded and or smoothed out, heavy pitting will be lessened but still be visible. Outer Head Surface and Endcaps are resurfaced to remove all scratches and pitting then mirror polished smooth. The rest of the razor will have a polished factory finish.
*Hand Polish with special jewelers cloths.
*Next, ALL razors receive Ultrasonic Deep Clean / Disinfecting at 160 degrees then 160 degree Electroclean, then Surface Activation, then Bright Nickel Plating
*Next I plate with Palladium/Cobalt or 24K Hard Gold Plate if chosen.
*The numbers and selector spring are painted with Testors enamel paint. The black ring below the selector dial on Fatboys and Executives is now USA made automotive pinstriping, which in our exprience lasts longer than painting with enamel.
*Reassembly, blade gap is checked and set, mechanics are checked.
*Final Hand Polish

This Beautiful Gillette Razor is Essentially a Brand-New Razor! Refurbished by Chris Spencer!

There is no date code or serial number on this razor, it does not have the notch on the center bar for a blade dispenser which was added by Gillette in 1948.
