This was the first time in my life I ever ran out an entire set. My opponent broke and ran and then I got a chance in the second rack, and from there I never looked back. I strung together eight break and runs in a row to close the match out.

What made it special for me wasn’t just the result, but the feeling in the last game. My cue ball wasn’t exactly where I wanted it to be, and the pressure of keeping the run alive was real. Somehow I managed to hold it together and finish it off.

For me, this wasn’t just about playing perfect pool for one match - it was about proving to myself that it was possible.
