Azerbaijan stage performance at Global fest 2019

On August 15th, 2019 Azerbaijan was brilliantly represented by it's Calgary stars Vedad, Emily & Tim, who performed at the 2 main stages of the most explosive festival in Calgary, Canada, called Global Fest.
Vedad is a young Azerbaijani singer-songwriter. His melancholic songs represent the mix of folklore and western music. This new approach made him popular in Azerbaijan. This year, Vedad moved to Canada to pursue his career in finance. Financier by day musician by night, Vedad continues writing new music for his listeners around the globe.
Emily & Tim represent Azerbaijan with their dances for many years now not only in Alberta but also at various stages around North America, including Disneyland in California. These young students received multiple awards for their input into community development in Alberta. These awards include Citizenship Jubilee medal from Queen Elizabeth, Alberta Premier Award and Community Faces award from Federation of Communities of Calgary. Well done, Vedad, Emily & Tim! Also special thank you to Paulina, Nicol and Farxadbey who represented Azerbaijan to the festival guests at the Azerbaijan Pavilion and in the park. Excellent team work!
