Using Transfer Admission Guarantee for UC Davis, Santa Barbara, Irvine + more!

Here is a video about what I consider to be one of the greatest opportunities for California community college students. The Transfer Admission Guarantee is a way for CC students to get into UC without the stress. The TAG is an option for students who are completing their general education requirements, typically through IGETC. Some schools require some other major requirements depending on the field of study. To view the full list of requirements visit the UC admissions website and the website of the school that you intend to apply for the TAG. I personally applied to UC Davis with a TAG for linguistics and I was accepted. It was really reassuring to have that acceptance and know that even if none of the other schools accepted me I would still be able to pursue a degree at UC. The application period is September 1-30. Don't forget to submit the UC application in November in addition to the TAG!
