Despite lacking farming experience and fluency in the local language, they are determined to make a success of their venture.The farm, named "El Deamar," includes an olive grove, vineyard, and various fruit trees, presenting both opportunities and challenges for the couple. Martin is writing a book about their journey to supplement their income, while Maggie focuses on cultivating the land and managing household tasks. With perseverance and adaptation to their new environment, they aim to sustain themselves through farming and potential book royalties, despite initial financial constraints.
