How We Breed Our Sheep In-Season (NATURALLY)

Can you believe I’m already planning for Spring 2020 lambing? It starts now, today…
Today I reunited my boys with the next group of ewes that have been sorted and evaluated twice since their last weaned session.

Breeding in the fall here in Canada is considered in-season. Meaning, they should need NO help from me in conceiving lambs.
Temperatures are cool (well, cold) and days are short... all things that trigger rams and ewes to get to business.

The sire breeds I will be using are Rideau, Ile de France, and Suffolk.
